Miniature vanity bedroom dressing table charm or pendant, made by Nuvo. With tiny brush, comb and objects on the surface and which opens to reveal a tortoise. I've often wondered what this signifies and have concluded that it's a subtle, tongue in cheek acknowledgement of those who take a long time to get ready! In good, original uncleaned condition retaining its lovely aged patina as shown in photos. Good hinge operation and closes securely.
Age circa 1970.

Size 17mm height; 10mm width.
