Returns & Exchanges
Here's all the information you'll need, should you wish to return or exchange a charm. If, for whatever reason, you are not completely happy with an item purchased from Charmarama, it may be returned, subject to the following conditions/instructions for return.
How to return an item for a refund
Email us via our Contact page to let us know you would like to return an item. Returns are eligible within 14 days of delivery.
Wait for our reply Return or exchange items received from you without prior correspondence will not be processed.
Post the item back to us along with the original packing slip or a note with original order details. The item must be in original condition, undamaged and unworn and packaged sufficiently to safeguard against damage in transit; items that are not in a saleable condition on return will not be eligible for refund. The cost of shipping of a returned item will be the sender's responsibility and must be by a trackable service with proof of shipping retained. Our original shipping costs are not reimbursable and there will be a restocking fee if we have ordered in charms specifically to fulfil your order.
International returns Returns of items purchased outside the UK must be returned using an Airmail tracked and insured service. Tracking details must be emailed to us following dispatch.
How to exchange an item
As above.
Postage back to you In order to save the time it will take to arrange payment for shipping the exchange item to you, you may wish to enclose a pre-paid, addressed shipping satchel with your address.
Faulty goods
In the unlikely event that you receive an item that is damaged or in some way defective, please email us immediately. It must then be returned to us within 7 business days and we will refund the original purchase price, plus shipping costs, via the original method of payment. Alternatively, if you would prefer a replacement, this will be dispatched (subject to availability) on receipt of the returned item and a refund will be provided for registered post return shipping.
Important information
Please note we do not allow 'Buy to Try' orders or returns. That is, ordering a number of charms with the intention of choosing a few and returning the rest. We are only a small business and don't have the capacity or stock to accommodate this way of shopping. However, we will gladly work with you via email and images to help with the purchasing process, if needed.
Any discounts applied to an order, whether or not all items are returned, will no longer be applicable.
Our original shipping costs for returned items which originally qualified for free shipping will be payable.
Exceptions
Custom made charms are non-refundable.
Special orders (ie a specially arranged order for a higher number of the same charm) are custom made and, as such, are not returnable.
Earrings are not returnable/refundable, for reasons of hygiene.
