Vintage Charlie McCarthy Dummy Charm

A rare, articulated Charlie McCarthy ventriloquist dummy charm. This early, characterful charm has moving arms and retains much of its original enamel. See all photos for condition and details.
Charlie McCarthy was a popular ventriloquist dummy created and performed by Edgar Bergen. Debuting in the 1930s, the monocle-wearing, top-hatted character became famous through radio shows, films, and appearances alongside Bergen for decades. Charlie McCarthy’s final appearance was in 1979, in The Muppet Movie alongside Edgar Bergen. The scene was filmed shortly before Bergen's death.
