Bagpiper Charm VINTAGE
A Scottish bagpiper charm with colourful 'tartan' enamelling. The earliest reference to this instrument in Scotland dates back to the 15th Century, but it is believed that its popular melodies may have sounded across the Highland in Scotland as early as the 6th Century. This miniature man playing the 'pipes, however, was made around 1960! It is in nice condition for its age, with only minimal wear to the enamel (please see photos).
Metal No marks but tested as silver.
Size 22mm height.
Structure 3 Dimensional, solid.
