Egyptian Sarcophagus Charm ANTIQUE
Superb rare Egyptian sarcophagus charm. Made during the 1920s, this exceptional pendant still contains its mummy (corpse) in its casket and the stunning enamel work is in very good condition. Made of 800 silver (standard in Egypt in that era) with gilt finish, note that the gilding has faded somewhat on the outside, hence the mummy being brighter 'gold'. The hinge is in good working order and the charm clips shut nicely. A wonderful opportunity to obtain this rare and collectable charm, particularly being in tact - I have seen a few over the years and most have lost their mummy.
